Essential Previous Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 03 years in ash utilization/ash management, preferably in a thermal power plant or any industry handling ash and ash management, thereof.
Desired Experience:
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, ash utilization guidelines and transportation/RTO norms.
Desired Competencies:
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, field execution, compliance and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibility of the Position:
• Facilitating coordination among plant operations, logistics, security, administration, transporters, government agencies and end users for smooth and effective ash utilization.
• Planning and execution of ash utilization through various modes of transportation such as road and rail, ensuring timely and compliant movement of ash.
• Identification and development of ash utilization avenues including low-lying area reclamation, National Highway (NH), State Highway (SH), R&B construction, cement manufacturing, brick manufacturing and other approved applications.
• Liaising and coordinating with statutory and government authorities including Pollution Control authorities, National Highway Authority, Public Works/R&B authorities and the Administration Department for approvals, compliance and facilitation of ash utilization activities.
• Coordination with local public and other stakeholders to facilitate ash transportation, utilization activities and resolution of field-level issues.
• Planning, monitoring and management of road vehicle movement for ash transportation in accordance with applicable RTO norms, safety requirements and prescribed operational procedures.
• Maintenance, verification and systematic recording of ash transportation/dumping distances for monitoring, documentation, reconciliation, operational control and maintaining weighbridge.
• Monitoring day-to-day ash generation, dispatch and utilization activities and coordinating with concerned agencies/contractors to maximize utilization and minimize accumulation of ash.
• Preparation and maintenance of periodic reports, records and status updates on ash dispatch, transportation, utilization locations, distance and related field activities for management review.
• Supporting compliance with applicable ash utilization directions, environmental requirements and instructions of competent/statutory authorities through proper documentation and field monitoring.
